Well, a delicate extract sweetness surprises at the beginning, before the fullness of the fruit – from persimmon to mango – breaks ground. The subtle tannic bitterness prevents opulence and further emphasizes the beauty of this Chardonnay experience. An intense wine like this needs partners on an equal footing – such as umami-rich food, as confirmed by double gold (!) at the “Sakura Award” in Japan.
1.5l quality wine, 13.5% vol. Fermented in French oak barrels and aged on the fine lees for 12 months with batonnage. An exceptional wine from one of the best locations around Halbturn (Neusiedlersee wine region) with particular maturity and stability.
