Fruity as only! Cool scent of blueberry sorbet, with some tea tannins and herbal spices, but also eucalyptus tones. This wine apparently “swallowed” the wood of the 18-month maturation when it was young – resulting in an incredibly juicy “Cab”. And a great advertisement for this rare grape variety!
0.75l quality wine, 14% vol. Fermented in small French and 500l wooden barrels and aged on the fine lees for 18 months with batonnage. An exceptional wine from one of the best locations around Halbturn (Neusiedlersee wine-growing region) with particular maturity and stability.
